फिर घूमकर तािई के फाटक से भीतर आया, और इस प्रकार लौट आया।16TSKCOMAnd the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.16TSKCOMഞാൻ എവിടെപ്പോയി എന്നും എന്തു ചെയ്തു എന്നും പ്രമാണികളാരും അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; वरन मैं ने तब तक न तो यहूदियोंको कुछ बताया या और न याजकोंऔर न रईसोंऔर न हाकिमोंऔर न दूसरे काम करनेवालोंको।17TSKCOMThen said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.17TSKCOMഅനന്തരം ഞാൻ അവരോടു: യെരൂശലേം ശൂന്യമായും അതിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ തീകൊണ്ടു വെന്തും കിടക്കുന്നതായി നാം അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ അനർത്ഥം നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ; varuvin; naam iniyum nindaapaathramaayirikkaathavannam yerooshaleminre mathil paniyuka ennu paranjnju.17TSKCOMतब मैं ने उन से कहा, तुम तो आप देखते हो कि हम कैसी दुर्दशा में हैं, कि यरूशलेम उजाड़ पड़ा है और उसके फाटक जले हुए हैं। तो आओ, हम यरूशलेम की शहरपनाह को बनाएं, कि भविष्य में हमारी नामधराई न रहे।18TSKCOMThen I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build.
