none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man’s pleasure.8TSKCOMഎന്നാൽ രാജാവു തന്റെ രാജധാനിവിചാരകന്മാരോടു: ആരെയും നിർബ്ബന്ധിക്കരുതു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ മനസ്സുപോലെ ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നതിനാൽ പാനം ചട്ടംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.8TSKCOMEnnaal raajaavu thanre raajadhaanivichaarakanmaarotu: aareyum nirbbandhikkaruthu; ororuthan thaanthaanre manassupole cheythukollatte ennu kalpichirunnathinaal paanam chattampole aayirunnu.8TSKCOMपीना तो नियम के अनुसार होता या, किसी को बरबस नहीं पिलाया जाता या; क्योंकि राजा ने तो अपके भवन के सब भणडारियोंको आज्ञा दी यी, कि जो पाहुन जैसा चाहे उसके साय वैसा ही बर्ताव करना।9TSKCOMAlso Vashti the queen made a feast for the women in the royal house which belonged to king Ahasuerus.9TSKCOMരാജ്ഞിയായ വസ്ഥിയും അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവിന്റെ രാജധാനിയിൽവെച്ചു സ്ത്രീകൾക്കു ഒരു വിരുന്നു കഴിച്ചു.9TSKCOMRaajnjiyaaya vasthiyum ahashveroshraajaavinre raajadhaaniyilvechu sthreekalkku oru virunnu kazhichu.9TSKCOMरानी बशती ने भी राजा झयर्ष के भवन में स्त्र्ियोंकी जेवनार की।10TSKCOMOn the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the presence of Ahasuerus the king,10TSKCOMഏഴാം ദിവസം വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചു ആനന്ദമായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവു: മെഹൂമാൻ, ബിസ്ഥാ, ഹർബ്ബോനാ, ബിഗ്ദ്ധാ, അബഗ്ദ്ധാ, സേഥർ, കർക്കസ് എന്നിങ്ങനെ രാജധാനിയിൽ സേവിച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്ന10TSKCOMEzhaam divasam veenjnju kutichu aanandamaayirikkumpol ahashveroshraajaavu: mehoomaan, bisthaa, harbbonaa, bigdhaa, abagdhaa, sethar, karkkas enningane raajadhaaniyil sevichunilkkunna10TSKCOMसातवें दिन, जब राजा का मन दाखमधु में मग्न या, तब उस ने महूमान, बिजता, हबॉना, बिगता, अबगता, जेतेर और कर्कस नाम सातोंखेजोंको जो झयर्ष राजा के सम्मुख सेवा टहल किया करते थे, आाज्ञा दी,11TSKCOMTo bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princes her beauty: for she was fair to look on.11TSKCOMഏഴു ഷണ്ഡന്മാരോടു ജനങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും വസ്ഥിരാജ്ഞിയുടെ സൌന്ദര്യം കാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവളെ രാജകിരീടം ധരിപ്പിച്ചു രാജസന്നിധിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു; അവൾ സുമുഖിയായിരുന്നു.11TSKCOMEzhu shandanmaarotu janangalkkum prabhukkanmaarkkum vasthiraajnjiyute saundaryam kaanikkendathinnu avale raajakireetam dharippichu raajasannidhiyil kontuvaruvaan kalpichu; aval sumukhiyaayirunnu.11TSKCOMकि रानी वशती को राजमुकुट धारण किए हुए राजा के सम्मुख ले आओ; जिस से कि देश देश के लोगोंऔर हाकिमोंपर उसकी सुन्दरता प्रगट हो जाए; क्योंकि वह देखने में सुन्दर यी।12TSKCOMBut the queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s commandment by his chamberlains: therefore was the king very wroth, and his anger burned in him.12TSKCOMഎന്നാൽ ഷണ്ഡന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം അയച്ച രാജകല്പന മറുത്തു വസ്ഥിരാജ്ഞി ചെല്ലാതിരുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു രാജാവു ഏറ്റവും കോപിച്ചു; അവന്റെ കോപം അവന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ജ്വലിച്ചു.12TSKCOMEnnaal shandanmaarmukhaantharam ayacha raajakalpana maruthu vasthiraajnji chellaathirunnu. athukontu raajaavu erravum kopichu; avanre kopam avanre ullil jvalichu.12TSKCOMखोजोंके द्वारा राजा की यह आज्ञा पाकर रानी वशती ने आने से इनकार किया। इस पर राजा बड़े क्रोध से जलने लगा।13TSKCOMThen the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king’s manner toward all that knew law and judgment:13TSKCOMആ സമയത്തു രാജമുഖം കാണുന്നവരും രാജ്യത്തു പ്രധാനസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവരുമായ കെർശനാ, ശേഥാർ, അദ്മാഥാ, തർശീശ്, മേരെസ്, മർസെനാ, മെമൂഖാൻ എന്നിങ്ങനെ പാർസ്യയിലെയും മേദ്യയിലെയും ഏഴു പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ അവനോടു അടുത്തു ഇരിക്കയായിരുന്നു.13TSKCOMAa samayathu raajamukham kaanunnavarum raajyathu pradhaanasthaanangalil irikkunnavarumaaya kershanaa, shethaar, admaathaa, tharsheesh, meres, marsenaa, memookhaan enningane paarsyayileyum medyayileyum ezhu prabhukkanmaar avanotu atuthu irikkayaayirunnu.13TSKCOMतब राजा ने समय समय का भेद जाननेवाले पणिडतोंसे पुछा (राजा तो नीति और न्याय के सब ज्ञानियोंसे ऐसा ही किया करता या।14TSKCOMAnd the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king’s face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)14TSKCOMരാജ്യധർമ്മത്തിലും ന്യായത്തിലും പരിജ്ഞാനികളായ എല്ലാവരോടും ആലോചിക്കുക പതിവായിരുന്നതിനാൽ കാലജ്ഞന്മാരായ ആ വിദ്വാന്മാരോടു രാജാവു:14TSKCOMRaajyadharmmathilum nyaayathilum parijnjaanikalaaya ellaavarotum aalochikkuka pathivaayirunnathinaal kaalajnjanmaaraaya aa vidvaanmaarotu raajaavu:14TSKCOMऔर उसके पास कर्शना, शेतार, अदमाता, तशींश, मेरेस, मर्सना, और ममूकान नाम फ़ारस, और मादै के सातोंखेजे थे, जो राजा का दर्शन करते, और राज्य में मुख्य मुख्य पदोंपर नियुक्त किए गए थे। )15TSKCOMWhat shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?15TSKCOMഷണ്ഡന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവു അയച്ച കല്പന വസ്ഥിരാജ്ഞി അനുസരിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു രാജ്യധർമ്മപ്രകാരം അവളോടു ചെയ്യേണ്ടതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.15TSKCOMShandanmaarmukhaantharam ahashveroshraajaavu ayacha kalpana vasthiraajnji anusarikkaaykakontu raajyadharmmaprakaaram avalotu cheyyendathu enthu ennu chodichu.15TSKCOMराजा ने पूछा कि रानी वशती ने राजा झयर्ष की खोजोंद्वारा दिलाई हुई आज्ञा का उलंघन किया, तो नीति के अनुसार उसके साय क्या किया जाए?16TSKCOMAnd Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.16TSKCOMഅതിന്നു മെമൂഖാൻ രാജാവിനോടും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: വസ്ഥിരാജ്ഞി രാജാവിനോടു മാത്രമല്ല, അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവിന്റെ സർവ്വസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലുള്ള സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും ജാതികളോടും അന്യായം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.16TSKCOMAthinnu memookhaan raajaavinotum prabhukkanmaarotum utharam paranjnjathenthennaal: vasthiraajnji raajaavinotu maathramalla, ahashveroshraajaavinre sarvvasamsthaanangalilulla sakalaprabhukkanmaarotum jaathikalotum anyaayam cheythirikkunnu.16TSKCOMतब ममूकान ने राजा और हाकिमोंकी उपस्यिति में उत्तर दिया, रानी वशती ने जो अनुचित काम किया है, वह न केवल राजा से परन्तु सब हाकिमोंसे और उन सब देशोंके लोगोंसे भी जो राजा झयर्ष के सब प्रान्तोंमें रहते हैं।17TSKCOMFor this deed of the queen shall come abroad unto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their eyes, when it shall be reported, The king Ahasuerus commanded Vashti the queen to be brought in before him, but she came not.17TSKCOMരാജ്ഞിയുടെ ഈ പ്രവൃത്തി സകലസ്ത്രീകളും അറിയും; അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവു വസ്ഥിരാജ്ഞിയെ തന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചയച്ചാറെ അവൾ ചെന്നില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരെ നിന്ദിക്കും.17TSKCOMRaajnjiyute ee pravrithi sakalasthreekalum ariyum; ahashveroshraajaavu vasthiraajnjiye thanre mumpaake kontuvaruvaan kalpichayachaare aval chennillallo ennu paranjnju avar thangalute bharthaakkanmaare nindikkum.17TSKCOMक्योंकि रानी के इस काम की चर्चा सब स्त्रियोंमें होगी और जब यह कहा जाएगा, कि राजा झयर्ष ने रानी वशती को अपके साम्हने ले आने की आज्ञा दी परन्तु वह न आई, तब वे भी अपके अपके पति को तुच्छ जानने लगेंगी।18TSKCOMLikewise shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king’s princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. Thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath.18TSKCOMഇന്നു തന്നെ രാജ്ഞിയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി കേട്ട പാർസ്യയിലെയും മേദ്യയിലെയും പ്രഭുപത്നിമാർ രാജാവിന്റെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ പറയും; ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്ദയും നീരസവും അധികരിക്കും.18TSKCOMInnu thanne raajnjiyute pravrithi ketta paarsyayileyum medyayileyum prabhupathnimaar raajaavinre sakalaprabhukkanmaarotum angane thanne parayum; ingane nindayum neerasavum adhikarikkum.18TSKCOMऔर आज के दिन फ़ारसी और मादी हाकिमोंकी स्त्रियां जिन्होंने रानी की यह बात सुनी है तो वे भी राजा के सब हाकिमोंसे ऐसा ही कहने लगेंगी; इस प्रकार बहुत ही घृणा और क्रोध उत्पन्न होगा।19TSKCOMIf it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Medes, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal estate unto another that is better than she.19TSKCOMരാജാവിന്നു സമ്മതമെങ്കിൽ വസ്ഥി ഇനി അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വരരുതു എന്നു തിരുമുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഒരു രാജകല്പന പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കയും അതു മാറ്റിക്കൂടാതവണ്ണം പാർസ്യരുടെയും മേദ്യരുടെയും രാജ്യധർമ്മത്തിൽ എഴുതിക്കയും രാജാവു അവളുടെ രാജ്ഞിസ്ഥാനം അവളെക്കാൾ നല്ലവളായ മറ്റൊരുത്തിക്കു കൊടുക്കയും വേണം.19TSKCOMRaajaavinnu sammathamengkil vasthi ini ahashveroshraajaavinre sannidhiyil vararuthu ennu thirumumpilninnu oru raajakalpana purappetuvikkayum athu maarrikkootaathavannam paarsyaruteyum medyaruteyum raajyadharmmathil ezhuthikkayum raajaavu avalute raajnjisthaanam avalekkaal nallavalaaya marroruthikku kotukkayum venam.19TSKCOMयदि राजा को स्वीकार हो, तो यह आज्ञा निकाले, और फासिर्योंऔर मादियोंके कानून में लिखी भी जाए, जिस से कभी बदल न सके, कि रानी वशती राजा झयर्ष के सम्मुख फिर कभी आने न पाए, और राजा पटरानी का पद किसी दूसरी को दे दे जो उस से अच्छी हो।20TSKCOMAnd when the king’s decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.20TSKCOMരാജാവു കല്പിക്കുന്ന വിധി രാജ്യത്തെല്ലാടവും--അതു മഹാരാജ്യമല്ലോ--പരസ്യമാകുമ്പോൾ സകലഭാര്യമാരും വലിയവരോ ചെറിയവരോ ആയ തങ്ങളുടെ ഭർത്താക്കന്മാരെ ബഹുമാനിക്കും.20TSKCOMRaajaavu kalpikkunna vidhi raajyathellaatavum--athu mahaaraajyamallo--parasyamaakumpol sakalabhaaryamaarum valiyavaro cheriyavaro aaya thangalute bharthaakkanmaare bahumaanikkum.20TSKCOMऔर जब राजा की यह आज्ञा उसके सारे राज्य में सुनाई जाएगी, तब सब पत्नियां छोटे, बड़े, अपके अपके पति का आदरमान करती रहेंगी।21TSKCOMAnd the saying pleased the king and the princes; and the king did according to the word of Memucan:21TSKCOMഈ വാക്കു രാജാവിന്നും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും ബോധിച്ചു; രാജാവു മെമൂഖാന്റെ വാക്കുപോലെ ചെയ്തു.21TSKCOMEe vaakku raajaavinnum prabhukkanmaarkkum bodhichu; raajaavu memookhaanre vaakkupole cheythu.21TSKCOMयह बात राजा और हाकिमोंको पसन्द आई और राजा ने ममूकान की सम्मति मान ली और अपके राज्य में,22TSKCOMFor he sent letters into all the king’s provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.22TSKCOMഏതു പുരുഷനും തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കർത്തവ്യം നടത്തുകയും സ്വഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കയും വേണമെന്നു രാജാവു തന്റെ സകലസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലേക്കും അതതു സംസ്ഥാനത്തേക്കു അതതിന്റെ അക്ഷരത്തിലും അതതു ജാതിക്കു അവരവരുടെ ഭാഷയിലും എഴുത്തു അയച്ചു.22TSKCOMEthu purushanum thanre veettil karthavyam natathukayum svabhaasha samsaarikkayum venamennu raajaavu thanre sakalasamsthaanangalilekkum athathu samsthaanathekku athathinre aksharathilum athathu jaathikku avaravarute bhaashayilum ezhuthu ayachu.22TSKCOMअर्यत् प्रत्थेक प्रान्त के अझरोंमें और प्रत्थेक जाति की भाषा में चिट्ठियां भेजीं, कि सब पुरुष अपके अपके घर में अधिक्कारने चलाएं, और अपक्की जाति की भाषा बोला करें।
