And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.18TSKCOMആദ്യദിവസം മുതൽ അവസാനദിവസംവരെ അവൻ ദിവസേന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകം വായിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഏഴു ദിവസം ഉത്സവം ആചരിച്ചു; എട്ടാം ദിവസം നിയമപ്രകാരം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടുകയും ചെയ്തു.18TSKCOMAadyadivasam muthal avasaanadivasamvare avan divasena daivathinte nyaayapramaanapusthakam vaayichu kelppichu; angane avar ezhu divasam uthsavam aacharichu; ettaam divasam niyamaprakaaram vishudhasabhaayogam kootukayum cheythu.18TSKCOMफिर पक्कीले दिन से पिछले दिन तक एज्रा ने प्रतिदिन परमेश्वर की व्यवस्या की पुस्तक में से पढ़ पढ़कर सुनाया। योंवे सात दिन तक पर्व को मानते रहे, और साठवें दिन नियम के अनुसार महासभा हुई।
