ദൈവാലയം അതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തു പണിയട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.15TSKCOMEe upakaranangal nee etuthu yerooshalemile mandirathilekku kontuchelluka; daivaalayam athinre sthaanathu paniyatte ennu kalpichu.15TSKCOMऔर उस ने उससे कहा, थे पात्र ले जाकर यरूशलेम के मन्दिर में रख, और परमेश्वर का वह भवन अपके स्यान पर बनाया जाए।16TSKCOMThen came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.16TSKCOMഅങ്ങനെ ശേശ്ബസ്സർ വന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലെ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടു; ithuvare athu theernnittilla ennu avar utharam paranjnjirikkunnu.16TSKCOMतब उसी शेशबस्सर ने आकर परमेश्वर के भवन की जो यरूशलेम में है नेव डाली; और तब से अब तक यह बन रहा है, परन्तु अब तक नहीं बन पाया।17TSKCOMNow therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.17TSKCOMആകയാൽ രാജാവു തിരുമനസ്സായി യെരൂശലേമിലെ ഈ ദൈവാലയം പണിവാൻ കോരെശ്രാജാവു കല്പന കൊടുത്തതു വാസ്തവമോ എന്നു ബാബേലിലെ രാജഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹത്തിൽ ശോധന കഴിച്ചു ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു തിരുവുള്ളം എന്തെന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുതി അയച്ചുതരേണമെന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.17TSKCOMAakayaal raajaavu thirumanassaayi yerooshalemile ee daivaalayam panivaan koreshraajaavu kalpana kotuthathu vaasthavamo ennu baabelile raajabhandaaragrihathil shodhana kazhichu ithinekkurichu thiruvullam enthennu njangalkku ezhuthi ayachutharenamennu apekshikkunnu.17TSKCOMअब यदि राजा को अच्छा लगे तो बाबेल के राजभणडार में इस बात की खोज की जाए, कि राजा कुस्रू ने सचमुच परमेश्वर के भवन के जो यरूशलेम में है बनवाने की आज्ञा दी यी, या नहीं। तब राजा इस विषय में अपक्की इच्छा हम को बताए।
